	10 On 09/12/2009 HI. I ORDERED THE LETTER OPENER AS A REPLACEMENT FOR ONE MY MOTHER HAD WHICH WAS PART OF A SET SHE PLANS LEAVING TO A GRANCHILD SOMEDAY. THE ONLY BAD THING I CAN SAY IS THAT WE DIDN’T PICK A DARK ENOUGH COLOR TO MATCH THE LOST ITEM--NOT YOUR FAULT, OF COURSE. THE LETTER OPENER WAS DELIVERED QUICKLY AND WAS SO BEAUTIFUL AND WELL MADE MY MOTHER ASKED ME TO ORDER ANOTHER ONE ONLY DARKER THIS TIME BUT BEFORE I DID SHE FOUND THE ONE THAT WAS LOST. 	9 On 12/21/2008 This letter opener is a piece of art. It is very beautiful and I’m glad that I ordered it. My only complaint is that it is not too sharp. It does not always pierce or slice open an envelope easily. It frequently takes a little more ’’oomph’’ to push the opener through the paper of an envelope than other letter openers that I have used. None of those were nearly as beautiful as this one and I guess I’m strong enough to open any letter with this opener. It would be better if it were sharper, though.

For Damaged Items:

Please unpack merchandise carefully and inspect upon receipt. In the event of breakage, please call us immediately (888 362-4789), so that we can go over the procedures for replacing the damaged item(s). Leave everything in the original box, with the packing materials. DO NOT SHIP ANYTHING BACK TO US WITHOUT CONTACTING US FIRST; WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ISSUE CREDIT TO YOUR CARD OR STORE CREDIT IF OUR PROCEDURES ARE NOT FOLLOWED, OR IF THERE IS FURTHER DAMAGE TO THE ITEM(S).

For Exchanges:

Items may be exchanged for other items, or for store credit, within a six- month period. Any items sent back to us must reach us in saleable condition. Customer pays return shipping fees.

For Refunds:

We will issue refunds to your credit card if an item(s) reaches you damaged and you do not want a replacement, or if an item has been misrepresented on our website. Misrepresentation must be agreed to by both parties. Refunds for misrepresented items will include shipping fees, and will be issued once the item(s) comes back to us in saleable condition.

No returns or exchanges for personalized or engraved items unless damaged, or received with an error.

No returns for STUDIO DIRECT orders unless damaged; handled at the discretion of the artist.

Lost or incorrectly delivered packages:

You will be given a tracking number when an item is shipped. If the package becomes lost or does not reach you, we will work with you in filing the proper UPS or USPS claim. Refund based on outcome of insurance claim; we are not liable after package has been successfully turned over to the carrier.

Late shipment Arrivals:

Please bear in mind, when you receive your tracking number, and the carrier has successfully obtained the package, we are not liable for the published or estimated shipment times. They are not guaranteed, especially with weather related delays.
