What you see is what I received- or its twin. This is a large mug with plenty of room for your coffee plus milk and space left over so that it doesn’t spill. If you like this shape mug (like I do), it is perfectly executed; and, the glaze is stunning. My mug is slightly darker than the one displayed but just as attractive- sufficiently so that my brother actually inquired as to the details of getting one (yikes! that was a first). In fact, everyone in the family is considering getting one of some size- smaller for mom. You can feel the weight of this mug when it is filled to capacity. Just right if you want to warm your hands, but possibly a bit much for your tiny grandmother. No complaints as yet.

This is a lovely small mug for the average coffee/tea drinker. I was initially concerned about the colors given the wide range displayed on the website. The mug I received fell well within the description, as well as my expectations. It is a beautiful red-raisin tone. It also has what appears to be a special glaze of iridescent blue gently distributed (but subtle), over the red to give a unique 3-D component to the glaze. The shape is pleasing with a nice lip to keep your head in place when you are still waking up. The weight is reasonable even full and one-handed (as tested by a friend with strength concerns). My only caveat is that I am not sure the glaze will stand up to repeated dishwasher abuse- so I will probably hand wash this to give it extra life.

I was very pleasantly surprised with my purchase of this bowl. The picture does not really reflect the beautiful colors and the excellent quality of the glaze and pottery. I am very happy with my purchase!

I love this mug. The colors are gorgeous and it feels good in my hand. It’s a little bit like a small vase but it’s not as big as some of those mammoth cups out there, and because of its shape, it still keeps my coffee warm. I like to be able to pour about 16-18 oz of coffee in my cup and this one is perfect. It was delivered quickly and since I got it for my birthday (as a present to myself from my little one, who broke one of my other mugs), I was delighted with the complimentary giftwrap.

Everything about this soup mug is perfect! The midnight blue glaze is beautiful; The mug itself is just the right size for a hearty serving of soup, stew or chili; When heating contents in the microwave, the handle remains cool while your soup is hot; It is very well-made and durable, and is also easy to clean. I am getting a bunch of these for my friends and a few more for myself. I highly recommend this product!
